LOUDON, N.H. - Brad Keselowski will start the second race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship the way he ended the first one — out front.Keselowski turned a track-record lap of 140.598 mph Friday to win the pole at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.Keselowski is coming off consecutive victories at Richmond and the Chase for the Sprint Cup opener last week at Chicagoland. He swept the Cup and Nationwide races at New Hampshire in July. The Team Penske driver has five poles this season and leads the series with five victories. He has eight poles in 189 career Sprint Cup starts. This kind of track is kind of right in my wheelhouse, right in our teams wheelhouse, Keselowski said. We had this race circled before the Chase started and we felt decent about Chicago, but really felt like this was a race of emphasis for us to get a win and get out of the first bracket.Jamie McMurray, a non-Chase driver, was second. Chase drivers took the next seven spots. Kevin Harvick was third, followed by Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Joey Logano, Carl Edwards and Ryan Newman.Chase drivers Ryan Newman, Dale Earnhardt Jr and Jeff Gordon took 11th to 13th. Kurt Busch is 15th, Matt Kenseth 16th and Kasey Kahne 17th. Aric Almirol starts 22nd and Greg Biffle had the worst qualifying effort of any Chase driver and will start 26th.Tony Stewart will start 28th in the No. 14 Chevrolet, his second-worst qualifying run of the season. Stewart was in the car for the first time since he learned a grand jury will decide his fate in the fatal sprint car crash in upstate New York.Kyle Larson was 10th and was the fastest qualifying rookie.I dont think anybody has anything for Brad right now, Larson said. Its pretty amazing how fast he is everywhere we go.Larson finished third at Chicagoland and one of NASCARs top rookies still believed he could finish the season with his first career Sprint Cup win. Many of NASCARs elite drivers, from Jeff Gordon to Tony Stewart, have long been wowed by the natural speed, talent and versatility flashed by the 22-year-old Larson. Gordon even came over to Larson last week moment after the race ended to offer some advice on restarts.Gordon — and so many others — believe Larson will win soon.Especially Larson.Yeah, every race I will sit in the motorhome and watch TV and flip to Twitter. Everybody always says this is your weekend, Larson said. I believe them, but it kind of sucks when you dont win. But I definitely feel like we are really close. We have been close a couple of times this year.Keselowski is trying to become the first driver to repeat at New Hampshire since Kurt Busch in 2004 and would end a streak of 13 different winners in the last 13 races at NHMS. Keselowski has four (Phoenix, Dover, Kentucky) of the 19 track records set this season.Keselowskis win in the Chase opener guaranteed him a spot in the next round of the Chase. Under NASCARs elimination format, four drivers will be knocked out after every third race. Keselowski is the top seed in the 16-driver field.Keselowski might be the No. 1 seed, but he knows an upset can always rattle the bracket. Its positive momentum, he said, but when it resets it resets and nothing that youve done in the past really matters as long as youre eligible for the bracket. Im a long, long ways from using the word favourite or feeling overly confident. China Jerseys Wholesale . Sam Bradford threw three touchdown passes, St. Louis added a score on defence and special teams and the Rams stunned the mistake-prone Texans with a 38-13 win on Sunday to win their second straight after dropping their previous three games. "I think everyone totally bought in," Bradford said of the turnaround. "I think if you look at the way weve played the past two weeks; its been a completely different mindset, a completely different attitude." The Rams (3-3) were up 24-6 early in the third quarter before rookie Daren Bates returned Keshawn Martins fumble on a kickoff return for a touchdown. Rookie first-round pick Alec Ogletree pushed the lead to 38-6 when he took an interception by T.J. Yates back 98 yards for a touchdown. Yates was in after Schaub sustained an apparent right ankle injury. Coach Gary Kubiak didnt have many details on Schaubs injury after the game, saying only: "Matts got a little bit of everything on that one leg." Schaub didnt have a turnover after throwing six interceptions, three of them returned for touchdowns in the past three games. But several other Texans had key gaffes as preseason Super Bowl hopeful Houston (2-4) lost its fourth straight game. "For the past few weeks the finger has been pointed in one direction a lot," Kubiak said. "But we sprung leaks all over the place today." The Texans had 95 yards of penalties, lost two fumbles and Yates threw two interceptions. Schaub had 186 yards passing and Yates finished with 98 yards passing. "We played our absolute worst football the last two weeks and weve got to change it," Houston safety Ed Reed said. Bradford was 12 of 16 for 117 yards. Rookie Zac Stacy had 18 carries for 79 yards in his second straight start. "To come out here and play a pretty much complete game was fun," St. Louis defensive end Chris Long said. "Offfense and defence were in complete sync.dddddddddddd" Brian Quicks 4-yard touchdown reception extended the Rams lead to 24-6 early in the third quarter. Rodney McLeod forced the fumble by Martin on the ensuing kickoff and Bates, an undrafted free agent, scooped it up and returned it 11 yards, diving into the end zone for the score. Schaub was injured on Houstons next drive when he was sacked by Chris Long. Some fans cheered while he was down after the injury, angering Houstons players. "For them to cheer about something like that, it just shows they have no class," Andre Johnson said. He was replaced by Yates. Schaub had thrown an interception that was returned for a touchdown in four straight games entering Sunday. Yates made it five in a row for Houston when his first drive ended with the interception return by Ogletree, who high-stepped his way into the end zone as the home fans serenaded the Texans with boos. The Rams took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter when Cory Harkey grabbed a 2-yard touchdown pass from Bradford. Kareem Jackson received a 40-yard penalty for pass interference early in that drive. The Texans were driving later in the first when Ogletree forced a fumble by rookie DeAndre Hopkins which James Laurinaitis recovered and returned it 43 yards. The Rams capitalized on the fumble with a 42-yard field goal by Greg Zuerlein to push the lead to 10-0 early in the second quarter. Houston cut the lead to 10-3 with a 20-yard field goal by Randy Bullock. Another 2-yard pass by Bradford -- this one to Lance Kendricks -- extended the lead to 17-3. An unnecessary roughness penalty on Brian Cushing for a late hit on Bradford helped that drive. Houston settled for another field goal just before halftime when Schaubs pass on third down fell incomplete to make it 17-6 at halftime. About the only highlight for Houston on Sunday was the play of Arian Foster, who finished with 20 carries for 141 yards. He added four catches for 57 yards. Ben Tate scored Houstons only touchdown on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter. ' ' '
